The FNIRSI SG-002 is a fully professional, multifunctional voltage and current signal generator designed for testing, diagnostics, and commissioning of automation systems. It supports ±12 V and 0–24 mA signals, operates in active and passive modes, works with 2-, 3-, and 4-wire installations, and offers high accuracy after calibration (up to 0.05 V / 0.05 mA). With its compact dimensions of 89 × 69 × 28 mm, the FNIRSI SG-002 is a truly mobile signal source. It is a tool that effectively replaces several devices and gives you full control over the signal in all conditions.
The generator has been designed with real industrial installations in mind. It works seamlessly with PLCs, inverters, proportional valves, transducers, and control systems. Support for both active and passive outputs allows you to test virtually any type of analog input – without any complications, additional resistors, or external power sources.
The FNIRSI SG-002 offers a wide selection of voltage modes: ±12 V, ±5 V, 0–10 V, 2–10 V, 0–5 V, 1–5 V, 0–3.3 V, 0–2.5 V, 0–1 V, and –10–0 V. This means that a single device is sufficient for testing both classic industrial installations and modern electronics or low-voltage control systems.
The current output covers the range of 0–24 mA and supports the popular 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA standards. High stability and accuracy after calibration make the generator ideal for sensor simulation, analog input calibration, and measurement circuit verification – even with loads up to 500 Ω.
The rotary encoder allows you to work in coarse and fine adjustment modes. This allows you to quickly set an approximate value and then refine it with high precision. One turn of the knob generates 30 pulses, which translates into very smooth and predictable adjustment – ideal for both quick tests and precise calibration.
The 4-digit LED display offers 8 levels of brightness adjustment and various data presentation modes: actual value, percentage, and special modes. This makes reading parameters quick and unambiguous, regardless of lighting conditions and the nature of the work.
The generator allows you to save the set voltage or current values, which are automatically restored after restarting. In addition, a quick start function is available, allowing you to save several predefined signal levels. This saves a lot of time during serial testing and repetitive service procedures.
The FNIRSI SG-002 can be powered from an external 15–30 V DC source (e.g., from a 24 V PLC installation), via micro USB 5 V, or from a built-in 1100 mAh / 3.7 V lithium battery. The device can operate while charging, which gives you complete independence in the field and in control cabinets.
Detachable terminal strips enable quick and secure connection of voltage and current signals. The well-thought-out terminal layout facilitates correct connection in active and passive modes and minimizes the risk of errors when working in industrial installations.
